The next week started off just fine, we were entertaining from our hotel rooms, or doing on call to tourist hotels. So 2 of us would work on call, 2 from our rooms.

Business was good each getting around 3 - 5 per day, mostly Johns, but the odd tourist Jane as well.

We even had time to do more touristy stuff, so we were pretty happy.

On sasha's advice we kept off the streets, too dangerous she said and I took her on her word. 

However a girl from Laos ( I believe ) and her friend who were renting a room in the same hotel were working the streets.

On Thursday afternoon she was attacked, raped, burnt and left for dead. Her friend and an Englishman managed to get her back to the hotel (I believe she died later in hospital).

The next day a John we knew invited us to a party at a large estate, telling us it was his bosses party and It would be good.

We agreed and that afternoon took a Taxi to the estate.

On arriving, there was maybe 10 other prostitutes there all Asian and 5 or 6 Johns.

Well pretty much as soon as the first girl asked for money, out came the Police ID cards and we were all arrested and charged under sections 151 - 156 of the "Penal code". 

Our good friend John was a Detective sergeant, odd he hadn't arrested us before and he'd had a different one of us over each of the last four nights.

Arrested for prostitution (again)

Well, It happened that the attack on the vietnamese girl had got into the media, so the police were under pressure to do something, easier to arrest the foreign asian prostitutes than to find the rapists I guess.

We were given a choice either to pay in cash  a considerable fine each or work off the cost/ fine as their whores. 

Now does that sound familiar or what !!

So we paid the fine (bribe), were each then  raped and thrown half naked (they kept our bras and panties, I have no idea why) onto the street , being told that we have 24 hours to leave Kenya.
I'm beginning to believe that being a pimp and a rapist is apart of the job description  worldwide for a Police officer.

So we packed our stuff, said goodbye to Sasha and her friends and headed out.
