Bahrain, well would never have thought of going there, but we got invited by one of the men from the parties in Benghazi. So here we are, staying for free at a really posh hotel.

We are sort of "on call", but free to pursue our own clients on the side as well.

Bahrain is a small island (a very wealthy one) off the coast of Saudi Arabia.
An interesting mix of traditional Islamic culture and non islamic decadence.

In regard to a LGBT community or scene, there appears a clear divide. For the  Ordinary Bahrainis  it's a no...no punishable by long imprisonment (even death), On the other hand for the rich and powerful, there's no law and anything goes.

The prostitute scene is on the whole "Gangster run" under local control, with trafficking and pedophilia rampant.
It would be extremely difficult and dangerous to attempt to contact any of these girls (for both of us) as their tightly supervised and mostly prisoners within the brothels.
Then there's us the call girls, a mix of "independents" and pimp owned.

I was truly surprised at how many of the local girls appeared "real lesbian", not the Bi- friendlies that so often are attached to men.

Talking to them was interesting, learning about Islam and homosexuality and how in different ways gay men are viewed to lesbian women.

They tell me lesbianism is widespread, just very underground and likely to remain that way.

Prostitution on the other hand is widespread, not hidden and cheap. 

A word of caution to any and all women from Asia, don't respond to those advertisements for marriage or domestic work in Bahrain and I mean DONT !! what they are offering in reality is sort of prostitution; ie (no money for you), but guaranteed drug addiction, STD's, violence, forced abortions and even death.

If you want to engage in prostitution here come as a tourist instead.

As you know we are prostitutes, we are prostitutes of choice and we are our own boss, thats how it should be.

Trafficking and being forced are both an abomination, crimes against humanity and In my view should be treated as such.
